About our felted cashmere:
The weavers "dress" the loom in a width that is greater than the finished size, and make it longer, too. The resulting fabric is then felted by hand, which involves washing and gentle agitation to aid in the interlocking of the very fine cashmere fibers. This process adds bulk, softness and loft to the finished scarf.
