These are restocking May 15. We combined traditional Palestinian embroidery known as tatreez with the most well known symbol of Palestinian resistance, the keffiyeh. Each keffiyeh is a one off.
This traditional keffiyeh is made by the factory in Hebron, Palestine, which opened its doors in 1961. The keffiyeh has become an important symbol of Palestinian resistance. In the 30s it was worn, and embraced as an image, by the armed guerillas who prosecuted armed rebellion against the British occupiers of Palestine. Until that period, the keffiyeh had primarily marked its wearer as rural, as a peasant, fallah, or a Bedouin.
